About
About The Paige Herald
The Paige Herald is a directory of public record: firms, people and places, arranged the way a newspaper arranges the world — by section, by place, by date.
It began with one question: could every firm in a trade, in every city, be listed and kept current automatically, from public data alone? The Accounting section is the first answer — a full directory of accounting firms by service and city. The Places section extends the same idea to twelve everyday trades. Other sections are set as their records are verified.
Who sets it
The Paige Herald is an independent project by the The Paige Herald desk. It is not affiliated with any firm listed. Corrections and takedown requests are handled within a few days — contact the desk.
How it is paid for
Featured placements, and introductions between firms and the people looking for them. A listing is never paid for and is never a ranking factor. See Methodology.
Why “1522”
A wink, not a claim. 1522 is roughly the moment the printing press first outran the town crier — the year news started to travel faster than the people carrying it. That is the job here too: arrange what is already public so it can be found in one place.
